Presentations

Our team has experience presenting in a variety of settings, both to mental health professionals and general audiences. We are available to present on the following topics:

  • Adolescent safety: How to identify warning signs of risky mental health symptoms, such as depression, self-harming behavior, and suicidal thoughts, as well as strategies for protecting the mental health of adolescents.

  • Anxiety: How to identify different types of anxiety, an introduction to different evidence-based techniques for treating anxiety, and ways to build resilience against anxiety.

  • ADHD: An overview of what ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is, and the often overlooked strengths that accompany ADHD, as well as suggestions for parenting a child with ADHD.

  • Parenting: A supportive, safe space to discuss the difficulties and worries associated with being a parent or caregiver. Parenting struggles and solutions are discussed in the context of family goals and values.

  • Privilege: A discussion of the profound way that privilege and societal barriers can affect our lives and the ways in which we relate to those around us.

  • Gender: Supporting parents / other involved adults in navigating discussions around gender identity, gender exploration, and understanding what gender affirming care looks like.
