Insurance

We are out-of-network providers and do not work directly with any insurance companies. Some insurance companies will reimburse part of the cost of out-of-network visits; this varies based on the insurance plan. As part of our services we provide monthly Super Bills which you can submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement.

No Surprises

The “No Surprises Act” was passed by Congress in 2022 to protect consumers from surprise medical bills. One of the requirements of that act was that providers of healthcare services notify their patients of the expected cost of the treatment they are about to receive (a “Good Faith Estimate”). Please see below for an explanation of the cost of psychotherapy.

The fee for a 50 minute individual / family psychotherapy visit (in person or via telehealth) varies by provider and location, ranging from $225 to $350. Longer appointments will come with a higher rate. If you have any uncertainty about the rate your provider charges, please consult with them.

Most clients will attend one therapy visit per week, but the frequency of psychotherapy visits that are appropriate in your case may be more or less than once per week, depending upon your needs. The frequency of visits and additional services (e.g. coordination of care with additional providers, collaboration with additional members of the patients family) will contribute to the overall cost of treatment, and will be based on a collaborative discussion between provider and patient.

Here are some examples of what you could expect to pay per session for services through Bridge to Bridge Psychotherapy Group:

• Initial Intake Appointment (90791): $300 for a 50 minute service

• Psychotherapy, per appointment (90834, & 90837, with the add-on code of 95 for telehealth services): $300 for a 50 minute service

• Family Psychotherapy, per appointment (90846 & 90847): $300 for a 50 minute service

• Coordination of care with other providers / support staff / family members (not reimbursable by insurance): $30 per 5 minute increment

• Psychological Assessment (96130 & 96136)” $360 for a 60 minute service
