I am a licensed clinical psychologist working in Marin County with children, parents, and adults.
I received my doctorate from the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium and my undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, majoring in psychology. I have extensive experience working with children, adults, and families. I am trained as a generalist psychologist, with specific training focused on treating anxiety and depression. My training has been focused in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which I use in a flexible, tailored manner for each patient I work with.
My philosophy is to empower my patients to be helpful and compassionate towards themselves and develop a healthy way to deal with life’s difficult times. Therapy is about personal connection, and my first goal is always to provide a safe, comfortable environment for my patients.
Prior to co-founding the Bridge to Bridge Psychotherapy Group with my trusted colleague, Dr. Erin Skiffer, I was a staff psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, where I also served as an on-call psychologist to the Emergency Department. Before that I was a therapist in community clinics and schools (elementary and high school).
I am bilingual and can provide therapy in either English or Spanish.
