Welcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist and native of the Bay Area. I work with adolescents, families, and young adults struggling with a range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, identity and gender issues, and relationship stress.

I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and remained in Seattle to work as a research coordinator for a study examining early indicators of Autism Spectrum Disorders. I returned to the Bay Area to begin my graduate program at Palo Alto University where I received my doctorate. I completed an APA Accredited internship at Denver Health Medical Center and Hospital where I trained in outpatient and inpatient settings to conduct therapy and assessment with children. After my internship, I completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship (APA Accredited) at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in the department of adolescent medicine, specializing in working with transyouth. Prior to joining Bridge to Bridge, I worked at Kaiser for over three years as a lead clinician for the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Petaluma and remain as Kaiser’s child gender specialist for Marin County and Petaluma.

I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels collaborative, nonjudgmental, and safe. My therapeutic approach is centered in dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed practices. I use these approaches flexibly to meet the individual needs of the people I am seeing. I aim to help people understand and reflect on their patterns and behaviors while building skillful and effective ways to communicate to others and cope with strong emotions. Alongside my generalist skills for supporting individuals facing a myriad of mental health challenges, I have a special interest in working with gender expansive youth and greatly enjoy working with the LGBTQ community
