I am a licensed clinical psychologist working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in Marin and San Francisco Counties.

I am a Bay Area native and received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle. I went on to obtain my doctorate degree in clinical psychology with a focus in child and adolescent psychology at Adler University in Chicago. I completed an APA accredited internship at The Guidance Center in Long Beach, where I conducted assessments and therapy with children and adolescents and provided trauma-informed consultations to local schools. My two-year APA accredited fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles further strengthened my specialization in trauma-informed care, as the training focused on providing evidence-based trauma assessments and treatments to children and adolescents.

In addition to a trauma specialty, I have extensive training and experience helping people who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, parent-child relational stress, externalizing behaviors, and adjusting to life stressors. My approach to therapy is rooted in a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and family systems practices, with an emphasis in incorporating evidence-based interventions. With my integrative approach, I aim to tailor therapy for each client’s unique needs. Additionally, I am certified in managing and adapting practice (MAP) and have experience providing evidence-based treatments such as, parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

The therapeutic relationship is the most important agent for change during the healing process. It is important for my clients to feel heard, understood, and free to be their authentic selves. My goal is to always provide a collaborative and safe space that promotes growth, connection, and reflection. With a trusting therapeutic relationship, I aim to help clients build their self-awareness while cultivating their strengths and learning new ways to deal with life’s challenges.
